#Repost @quitewomenco ・・・ #truthtelevision @thetruthontv Day 1/7: Recharging your perspective So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. – 2 Corinthians 4:16 (NIV) Whether you’re running low on energy, inspiration, enthusiasm, the best possible thing to do in this moment is not to dwell on what you’re feeling externally in your body, but what God has done for you through Jesus eternally in your heart. When you put your focus on what God is doing in your heart, you realize that even though you may have lost motivation or zeal, or maybe even the will to go on, you do not have to lose heart. You can continue to be joyful in the Lord, when it seems like: 1. The work day is going on too long 2. The things you’re hoping for are taking forever to happen 3. The person that you care about doesn’t care about you as near as much 4. The people you thought you could trust let you down 5. You don’t have what it takes to get through the rest of the week with a good attitude 6. God isn’t really doing anything special in your life 7. You have too much on your plate and there’s no way you can get it all done 8. You’re not getting support from the people you thought you could count on 9. There are no opportunities for you in your line of work or field of interest 10. You’re better off settling for something in a relationship that you know isn’t right, but you just don’t think you can wait any longer If you’ve ever dealt or are currently dealing with any of these things, know that the answer isn’t trying to sort through all of this in your mind alone. The answer is to take a moment and pray and ask the Lord to renew your mind, so that you will be 100% ready, in Him, to face these challenges!
